With 76 percent of Americans getting to work by driving alone (US Census Bureau), “green commuting” offers an opportunity to make a big difference for the environment. Plus, alternative modes of transportation can benefit your health, save you money, and even lead to new friendships (hello, carpool buddies!).

    The roads leading into our center are not conducive to riding a bicycle. There are no bike paths and no shoulders or sidewalks. Hundreds of people would bike into walk if it were not so dangerous.
