Want to help your building stay in compliance? One of the most common observations noted during Facility Environmental Audits is employees not attending the mandatory waste training. If the requirement to complete the training applies to you, help your facility stay in compliance by attending waste training annually!
Here are the dates for Waste Management/Spill Response Training for 2023:
- June 5, 2023 @ 9:00-11:00am (Pearl Young Theater/Microsoft Teams)
- June 7, 2023 @ 9:00-11:00am (Pearl Young Theater/Microsoft Teams)
- July 20, 2023 @ 9:00-11:00am (Pearl Young Theater/Microsoft Teams)
- August 9, 2023 @ 9:00-11:00am (Pearl Young Theater/Microsoft Teams)
Training enrollment must be executed through SATERN at https://satern.nasa.gov/. The course title is listed in the catalog as “Waste Management/Spill Response Training.”
If needed, the steps for locating and registering for the course after you login to SATERN are as follows:
- Type Waste Management in the find learning box. “Waste Management/Spill Response Training (Course ID: LARC-WMSR)” should be the first option available.
- Click on “See Classes” to expand the selection, which will reveal the course dates.
- Click on the Register Now link under the date and class type you wish to attend.
- Follow the remaining directions to confirm your selection.
If you plan on attending virtually, links to the Microsoft Teams meetings can be found here. You still must register in SATERN and virtually attend the entire class to receive credit for the training.
