Alien Insects Invading Virginia

Join LaRC retiree and York/Poquoson Master Gardener Greg Hajos for an awareness presentation on three invasive insect pests approaching or already in our area. The Red Imported Fire Ant, the Emerald Ash Borer and the Spotted Lanternfly will be discussed. It is important to be able to identify these pests, and report any findings to the Virginia Cooperative Extension.

  • This webinar will be given in observance of Earth Day’s 50th Anniversary through Webex . An access link to attend the webinar will be provided through Center-wide emails and @LaRC posts.

How Chemists and Engineers Will Make a Difference for a Healthy Planet
