New Educational Signs at LaRC

Bioretention Gardens IESB 2017

You may have noticed a few new signs around the NASA Langley property!

Recently, the Environmental Branch installed new environmental education signs around Center. These signs provide information on stormwater runoff and infrastructure NASA Langley has in place, such as bioretention gardens, pervious pavers, and tree box filters, to reduce pollutants from entering the Chesapeake Bay and recharge groundwater. These stormwater best management practices (BMPs), plus many more, are just a few of the systems NASA Langley has in place to be a more sustainable Center and member of the Chesapeake Bay community. There are six new signs, see if you can locate them all!
