NASA Langley has many events planned for this year’s Earth Day and Arbor Day celebrations!
Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated worldwide on April 22, where events are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Arbor Day is observed each year on the last Friday in April to celebrate the importance trees in our lives.

- All month – Plastic Bag Recycling (April 1-30)
- April 18 – Lunch and Learn: Presentation on “24 Ways to Kill a Tree”
- April 23 – Earth Day Expo 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at B2102
- April 25 – Lunch and Learn: Become an oyster gardener!
- April 25 – Green Roof Restoration: Planting and Weeding on B2101
