Lunch and Learn Opportunity – Net Zero Energy
This lunch and learn opportunity in the IESB NACA Room on October 15th at 11:30 am will be presented by NASA Langley’s Energy Manager, Joan Hughes, and will cover a number of Net Zero Energy topics in light of recent requirements in Executive Order 13693. NASA’s Net Zero Roadmap, developed by NREL in conjunction with NASA HQ, is what NASA will be using as a guide for getting to Net Zero and milestones/deadlines for this effort. In addition, this training session will outline DOE’s recent definition of Net Zero, which directly impacts how energy consumption of a building is counted and therefore drives how much renewable energy is required for a project.
