NASA Langley Research Center was recognized as a 2015 Tree City USA Facility, for the seventh year in a row, in honor of its commitment to effective urban forest management!
The Tree City USA program emphasizes that trees are vital to the public infrastructure of cities and towns throughout the country, providing numerous environmental, social, and economic benefits. Details on how LaRC achieved this recognition are described in the press release below.
