NASA Langley has many events planned for this year’s Earth Day and Arbor Day celebrations!
Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated worldwide on April 22, where events are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Arbor Day is observed each year on the last Friday in April to celebrate the importance trees in our lives.

- Tour and demonstration at the Poquoson Learning Garden on April 12th
- Volunteer reforestation project of one acre in the North 40 on April 13th
- Earth Day Expo in B2102 on April 20th
- Volunteer green roof restoration project from April 17th through 28th
- Plastic bag recycling collection in IESB all April
- EMS logo contest through May 19th
- Potential tree planting with students at LaRC Daycare Center
