Please join us for a Native Plant Walk led by Peninsula Master Naturalist Susie Yager on Monday, April 23rd. Susie will lead a walk through a lakeside wood area to see blooming native spring flowers and numerous other plants including ferns.
Depending on which location has better blooms, we will either be walking through Newport News Park or Sandy Bottom Park. The trail may be muddy in areas and the walk will be 1-2 miles (at a slow pace over 2 to 2.5 hours). Please dress for the conditions and be aware of your physical limitations when registering.

The tour shuttle will pick up at 12:30pm on April 23rd on W. Taylor Rd between IESB and B1146. We will return to Center by 4pm.
