It’s time to turn your energy awareness into action! October is Energy Action Month for all Federal Agencies, and LaRC has several activities planned for you!
This month, make it a goal to attend at least one activity the LaRC Energy Team has planned for Energy Action Month. Some activities include the following:
- Annual Energy Expo, October 19th from 11am-1pm, B2102 (IESB) with several exciting vendors showcasing their energy-saving tips
- Energy-related training opportunities, including LaRC’s new and impressive power monitoring tools for buildings across Center
- Exclusive employee tours of local facilities
- LaRC Electric Vehicle Car Show, Oct 19th 11am- 1pm
- Presentation by Jefferson Laboratory Energy Management on Oct 27th
You could also take some time this month to review a previous Enviro-Tip on how you can Save $$$ by Slaying Energy Vampires. This includes tips for the office and for home!
