We’ve reached the summer months and temperatures are rising! So how do you stay cool in a warm office? There are steps you can take to create a more comfortable working environment for yourself and those around you.
Here are 8 environmentally-friendly tips on staying comfortable in your office this summer:

Have energy-saving ideas? Each year, the LaRC Energy Management team invites you to submit ideas for energy and water conservation. Since FY2012, the LaRC Energy Management team has implemented 51 small energy and water projects with approximately $350,000 in funding, with funding levels ranging from $200 to $50,000. This includes lighting projects, building envelope projects, water conservation projects, and more. Submit suggestions to your Facility Coordinator or Facility Environmental Coordinator.
Have concerns? Report thermal comfort concerns or suspected problems with your building’s cooling system to your Facility Coordinator.
