In observance of Earth Day’s 50th Anniversary, the Environmental Team extended an invitation to all NASA LaRC personnel to participate on our “Celebrate our Earth” themed photography contest.
The energy and interest in this competition was extraordinary! The Environmental Team was blown away by the number of participants and the amazing photos that were submitted. We want to thank every single one of you for your participation and time. You all made this competition more interesting, and we hope you all enjoyed participating in it as much as we enjoyed reviewing the photos.
We received over 300 photo submissions, all showcasing Planet Earth’s incredible natural wonders!! Although a very difficult task, the Environmental Team voted to narrow down the top contenders, and ultimately the final winner based on the contest criteria.
